Account Monitoring
Account monitoring is the ongoing practice of watching selected accounts for changes that could affect sales or customer activity. In a B2B context, that can include new first-party engagement, changes in account score, renewed interest from known contacts or activity from additional stakeholders.
Monitoring is about change, not just the current score
An account score provides a current summary. Monitoring looks for movement underneath it. A previously quiet account returning to product pages, several contacts becoming active or a score increasing quickly may be more useful than the absolute score alone.
Choose what is worth watching
Trying to monitor every account and every event creates noise. Teams can focus on target accounts, open opportunities, strategic customers or previously active prospects and define the changes that actually warrant attention.
How SalesWings supports account monitoring
SalesWings can aggregate first-party behavioural activity at account level and surface account scores, interests and underlying contact activity in Salesforce. Alerts can then be used selectively when a defined change warrants action.
Account monitoring vs website visitor tracking
Website visitor tracking captures the underlying web activity. Account monitoring applies that data to a known set of companies and asks whether anything has changed enough to affect prioritisation or follow-up.
See SalesWings Interactions for first-party activity and Account Prioritisation for the decision layer built on top of account signals.
Turn buyer behaviour into Salesforce intelligence
SalesWings helps teams capture first-party behavioural data, score leads and accounts, trigger actions, and surface revenue intelligence inside Salesforce.
