Salesforce logos for partners: official download, correct usage & color guide
Where to get the real Salesforce artwork, what you’re allowed to do with it, and the traps that get partner content flagged.
Where do I download the official Salesforce logo? From Salesforce’s own Media Library, on the dedicated Salesforce Logo page, which is a press-ready asset with last-updated info.
Is it okay to use it on my website or deck? Only if your use complies with Salesforce’s Trademark and Copyright Usage Guidelines. You can reference the trademarks in word form to describe compatibility (“works with Salesforce”), but you can’t imply endorsement or modify the artwork.
Are there partner-specific rules? Yes. If you’re a Salesforce partner, follow the Salesforce Partner Branding Guidelines, including the rule against lockups like “SalesWings | Salesforce.”
Official sources (bookmark these)
Go straight to the source rather than a third-party download site. These three are the ones that matter:
- Media Library hub: quick navigation to logos, leadership images, and more.
- Company Logos collection: related official marks, including MuleSoft and Tableau.
- Intellectual Property overview: the scope of protected marks and assets.

Retired marks: don’t use these
Both of these still circulate on old blog posts and slide templates. Neither is current.
Correct usage: do’s and don’ts
Do
- Use the official, unmodified artwork straight from Salesforce’s Media Library.
- Maintain clear space and legibility, and keep the artwork to factual references, press use, or compliant partner contexts.
- Follow partner guidance for any co-marketing material or integration diagrams if you’re a Salesforce ISV partner.
Don’t
- Modify colors, proportions, shapes, or add effects and animations.
- Imply endorsement or create combined lockups such as “SalesWings | Salesforce.”
- Mirror or self-host altered logo files. Point people to the official source instead.
For integration diagrams: keep the logo unmodified and make sure the surrounding context follows partner rules, with no co-branding lockups. If in doubt, use a neutral shape or generic icon instead.
Disclaimer: SalesWings is not affiliated with or endorsed by Salesforce. “Salesforce” and related marks are trademarks of Salesforce, Inc. SalesWings is a 5x certified Salesforce ISV partner, helping sales and marketing operations teams collect first-party behavioral data, generate first-party intent insights with lead and account scoring and profiling, and activate this data in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Sales Cloud, Data Cloud, Agentforce, and any Salesforce connected solution.
File formats, sizes, and “transparent logo”
Use SVG for crisp scaling in web or app UI, and PNG or JPG for decks and quick comps. The official logo page provides high-resolution artwork with last-updated dates, so check back there rather than relying on a cached copy.
Color notes (approximate values)
Salesforce doesn’t publish an official public hex value for the logo blue. The values below are third-party approximations, not official brand specs, so label them as such if you use them, and defer to official brand specs if you have partner access to them.
| Name (approx.) | Hex | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Salesforce blue (approx.) | #00A1E0 | Brand Color Code |
| Salesforce blue (approx.) | #009EDB | SchemeColor |
Brief history and evolution
Salesforce launched in 1999 with the bold “No Software” logo, symbolizing its mission to end traditional software licensing. Alongside that, the company introduced a friendly cloud-shaped wordmark that highlighted its pioneering cloud-first approach.
In 2014, the logo was modernized with a flatter design and cleaner lowercase type built for digital environments. In 2022, Salesforce officially shortened its legal name from Salesforce.com, Inc. to Salesforce, Inc., updating its branding to match. Today, the blue cloud remains the iconic mark, representing trust, innovation, and the power of the cloud.
Salesforce centralizes current, press-quality assets, including logos, leadership photos, and spokespeople, in its Media Library. Treat that as the source of truth rather than a third-party download site.
Frequently asked questions
Is it legal to put the Salesforce logo on my website?
Only in ways permitted by the Trademark and Copyright Usage Guidelines. Avoid implying sponsorship or endorsement, and if your use goes beyond a nominative reference, seek permission first.
Can partners place the logo in product diagrams?
Yes, but strictly within the Partner Branding Guidelines. No lockups, and nothing that simulates Salesforce’s own branding.
Where can press download the logo?
The official Salesforce Logo page in the Media Library has press-ready art.
What’s the hex code for “Salesforce blue”?
Salesforce doesn’t publish an official public hex value. Third-party sites list approximate values such as #00A1E0 and #009EDB, and either should carry an “approximate” disclaimer if you use it.
Can I recolor or animate the logo?
No. Modifying the logo in any of those ways is prohibited under Salesforce’s usage guidelines.
Should I host the logo myself?
Best practice for accuracy is to reference the official Media Library directly. If you do keep a local copy, put a recurring reminder on the calendar to check it against the source so it doesn’t go stale.
Where SalesWings fits
None of the above changes with your martech stack. If you’re building Salesforce-connected marketing or sales workflows, SalesWings adds first-party behavioral tracking, lead and account scoring, and next-best-action alerts on top of Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, or Agentforce, without touching how Salesforce is branded.
Curious how first-party intent data plugs into your existing Salesforce setup?
