Dreamforce 2026 Parties & Networking Events in San Francisco

The SalesWings team has attended Dreamforce no less than seven times, and we can certainly say one thing: Dreamforce is not only about what happens inside Moscone.

Once the keynotes wind down, San Francisco fills up with rooftop happy hours, partner receptions, community meetups, dinners and some very big after-parties. This guide brings the best confirmed Dreamforce 2026 events together in one place.

The SalesWings team will be at Dreamforce soaking it all in.

If you’re attending, reach out in the chat and meet us for some fresh orange juice, or simply come and say hello.

Tuesday15September

Dreamforce Day 1

Day 1 is where the party calendar gets serious. You’ve spent the day absorbing keynotes, AI announcements, demos and several hundred uses of the word “agentic”. Now you’ve earned a drink.

685 Market St

Hosted by Hyperbound

Café Hyperbound

7:00 PM to lateThe Grand Nightclub
520 4th St

Salesforce Ben Dreamforce After Party

This is the point where “networking event” becomes “actual party”.

Why go: One of the best options for meeting a broad Salesforce crowd and staying out later than you originally intended.

Event page & RSVP

Tuesday strategy: don’t try to do everything

Three good conversations at two events are usually more valuable than sprinting between five venues collecting badges and half-finished drinks.

Pick an early happy hour and one later event. Give yourself enough time to actually speak to people. Your feet will thank you too.

Wednesday16September

Dreamforce Day 2 + Dreamfest

Wednesday evening is dominated by Dreamfest, so most of the strongest networking events happen earlier and position themselves as a pre-party. Choose somewhere convenient and then head to the concert.

No major Thursday evening party yet

There may still be smaller breakfasts, partner gatherings and informal meetups, but as of this update we don’t have a major Thursday evening event that we’d consider a must-add.

The SalesWings team will still be around, of course. ;-)

If new Thursday events are announced, we’ll add them here.

Networking without the hard sell

How to network at Dreamforce parties without being that person

The parties are fun. They’re also one of the best networking opportunities of the entire week. A few things we’ve learned over seven Dreamforces:

  1. 1

    Skip the hard pitch

Ask people what they’ve been working on, what they thought of the keynote, or what problem brought them to Dreamforce. You’ll learn far more than you would by launching directly into your product demo.

  2. 2

    Use QR codes and LinkedIn

Business cards still work, but a LinkedIn QR code is faster when you’re standing in a busy bar. Connect while the conversation is fresh.

  3. 3

Don’t spend the whole evening with your colleagues

You flew to San Francisco to meet people. Say hello to a new table. Join the conversation. Introduce two people who should know each other. That’s the good stuff.

  4. 4

Pick events that match your goals

If you want Financial Services contacts, prioritise an FSI reception. If you want Salesforce architects and systems leaders, choose a technically focused community event. If you simply want to meet as much of the ecosystem as possible, the larger community parties are hard to beat.

  5. 5

    Stay reasonably professional

We know. There’s an open bar. But current customers, future customers, colleagues, partners and possibly your next boss are all standing in the same room. Enough said. 😇

  6. 6

    Write down the context

After a useful conversation, make a 20-second note: Who were they? What did you discuss? What should happen next? That tiny habit makes your follow-up approximately 100x better than “Great meeting you at Dreamforce!”

Following up after Dreamforce

This is where a surprising amount of networking value gets lost.

You come home. Your inbox contains 947 emails. Slack is on fire. Your notes make slightly less sense than you remember.

Don’t let the interesting person you met on Tuesday become another LinkedIn connection you never speak to again.

Send a short follow-up while the conversation is still fresh. Reference the specific topic you discussed and suggest one logical next step, such as a useful resource, an introduction, a coffee or a short call.

For sales and marketing teams, this is also where good lead prioritisation matters. A conversation at Dreamforce can reveal information a form never will: urgency, buying stage, current technology, business priorities, internal stakeholders and whether someone actually wants to continue the conversation.

Practical San Francisco tips

Getting around during Dreamforce

Dreamforce takes over a fairly concentrated part of downtown San Francisco, so walking is often the fastest way to move between Moscone and nearby partner events. For longer trips, BART and Muni are your friends.

  1. 1

    Wear comfortable shoes

You will walk considerably more than you think.

  2. 2

    Leave buffer time

A “five-minute walk” becomes considerably longer when thousands of other Trailblazers have the same idea.

  3. 3

    Group events geographically

Going from Moscone to a nearby SoMa happy hour and then to another SoMa party is much smarter than crossing the city repeatedly.

  4. 4

    Bring layers

September is one of San Francisco’s warmer months, but evenings can still cool down. Conference air conditioning also appears to operate according to its own climate system.

Need somewhere quieter to meet?

Not every Dreamforce conversation needs a DJ. These spots can offer a useful break from the conference floor.

Salesforce Park

A rooftop oasis above the Transit Center with benches, lawns and room to decompress.

Yerba Buena Gardens

Breezy terraces just a block from Moscone and easy to reach between sessions.

South Park

A leafy public space a short walk south of the main Dreamforce campus.

Frequently asked questions

Dreamforce 2026 party FAQ

When and where is Dreamforce 2026?

Dreamforce 2026 takes place September 15 to 17 at Moscone Center in San Francisco, California.

When do Dreamforce 2026 parties start?

Many unofficial Dreamforce parties start on Monday, September 14, before the conference officially begins.

Monday is a particularly good night for community kickoffs because attendees have arrived in San Francisco but the main conference agenda has not yet taken over their calendars.

Where can I find Dreamforce 2026 parties?

The easiest approach is to use a curated day-by-day list like this one and shortlist events by location, audience and RSVP status.

Dreamforce event schedules change quickly as sponsors confirm venues and capacity, so check registration pages before heading out. We’ll continue updating this list as new 2026 parties are announced.

Do Dreamforce parties require an RSVP?

Most organised Dreamforce parties and happy hours require advance registration, and some are invite-only or subject to approval.

High-demand events can hit capacity well before Dreamforce begins. Register early, keep your confirmation email and have a backup event nearby.

Which Dreamforce parties are worth prioritising?

The best Dreamforce parties are the ones that match what you want to get out of the week.

For broad ecosystem networking, prioritise larger community events. For pipeline and partnership conversations, smaller partner happy hours can be much better. For industry-specific networking, choose events built around your role or sector.

Three useful conversations beat thirty shallow contacts.

How should you network at Dreamforce parties?

Arrive with a simple introduction, a few people you’d genuinely like to meet and one useful question.

Avoid opening with a sales pitch. Talk about what people are building, the problems they’re trying to solve and what they’ve learned at Dreamforce. That tends to produce much better conversations.

What is the best follow-up after a Dreamforce party?

The best follow-up is fast, personal and tied to the conversation you actually had.

Reference what you discussed and propose a useful next step. “Great meeting you at Dreamforce” is forgettable. A message that references the actual Salesforce problem or priority you discussed is considerably better.

Can Dreamforce parties improve speed-to-lead?

Yes, if your team treats conversations as useful buying signals rather than simply collecting contacts.

Informal discussions can reveal intent, business priorities, timing, technology challenges and stakeholder information that might never appear in a lead form. Capture that context quickly, prioritise the strongest opportunities and route them to the right sales rep while the conversation is still fresh.

Event details can change. Check each organiser’s registration page before attending.
